I met my husband of 47 years at Texas Tech where I graduated with a degree in Applied Art.  Our two sons are Construction Engineering graduates of Tech.

I retired from a career as a licensed professional interior designer.  In addition to interiors, sixteen houses and an office building were built from plans I designed.  The most noteworthy project in my portfolio was the interior design of EDS’s corporate apartment in the Museum of Modern Art Tower in New York City in 1995.

My passion for genealogy, specifically searching for information on my Texas ancestors, has led to my involvement in the Daughters of the Republic of Texas

We say we like to travel, but what we like best is coming home to our piece of paradise in Central Texas where, from our deck in the trees, we read the morning papers with songbirds and watch sunsets and storms as they roll in from the west.

I count my blessings daily and look forward to seeing my old friends every five years for many years to come.
