Here is a brief account of the great life I have been blessed with.   I graduated May 28, 1958 and married Sherilan Sikes on June 14, 1958, the greatest day of my life. I worked in the oil field a couple of years, then took over the operation of the family ranch and moved back to the ranch. Our union was blessed with four great children and a wonderful life for 25 years. We did the regular ranch work, went to many rodeos, was fairly successful in the cattle business and farming operation.

Sherilan and I separated in 1984 and were divorced in 1985 (Bad Day).  I moved to the mountains of New Mexico for a couple of years and went to work for a national security company out of Dayton, Ohio.  I traveled all over the USA in this line of work working mostly labor disputes, strikes, and some personal body-guard time. I moved to Oregon in 1987 and lived there for 11 yrs.  I then moved back to Texas in 1996 and worked for Shamrock Police Department as a dispatcher until 2003 when I decided to retire.

I have put my security video training to good use in wildlife photography and am enjoying it greatly. My health is fairly good - both knees need replacing due to old football injuries and rodeoing.  The “itus” boys have moved in - mainly “arthur”.  Maybe it’s better late than never?
