Hello everyone!

I am so excited to hear all the news concerning my classmates.  I will not be able to attend the reunion this year, but my thoughts will be with all of you that are able to attend.

I have so many good memories of our time together there in Pampa High School.  I only came there the second semester of my Junior year and graduated with all of you.  The friends I made there I have often wondered about.  I dated Charles Lockhart and understand that he along with several of our classmates are no longer with us.

After graduation I attended West State in Canyon for one year and married during that year to Walter Johnson, an Air Force soldier stationed in Amarillo as did many of our girls.  He was from Nashville, Tennessee, and we moved there when he was discharged .  We had two children, a boy and a girl.  We divorced after nine years of marriage.  My children and I moved to Tyler, Texas where I worked in the medical field for many years.  I remarried after five years to my husband, Bobby Smith.  GOD had this plan for me to meet him ... moving me from Tennessee to Whitehouse, Texas, which is a small town outside of Tyler.  We have been married for 25 years.  He is a wonderful man, and I am so glad that I found my soul mate.

I am now retired and enjoying reading, sewing, painting and such.  My son and his two daughters live in Nashville, Tennessee, and I don't get to see them as often as I would like.  My daughter also lived in Nashville.  She died and had one daughter who is now 13 years old.  Memories are something that can never be taken from you, and I have so many precious ones.

Remember that we are all like threads and we are woven into a beautiful tapestry of live that only God has designed!

Everyone, have a wonderful time together!!!!!

2008 Update.  I had a triple bypass graft on the 18th of June.  Then about a week later where they took the vein from my leg, it popped and now I have a 4 inch open wound that is being treated and coming along nicely.  I hope that someday I will be able to come to one  of the reunions.  I hope that everyone has a good time.

Love to all,
