After graduating from Pampa High School in 1958, I attended college, met Ann Jones (PHS class of '59) and on May 24, 1961 we were married in the Campus Chapel at West Texas State College. The following semester we transferred to Texas Tech to continue our education. Our first daughter, Teresa, was born while I attending Tech.

Upon graduation in 1965 we moved to Oklahoma City where I was employed as a Park Planner, advancing to Superintendent and later as Director of the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department. During this time Ann returned to school and received her BS degree, and our second daughter Melissa was born.

Teresa lived in Maui for five years while self employed as a website designer and commercial artist. Teresa's daughter, Jasmin, returned to Oklahoma to attend college. Teresa moved back to Oklahoma City, and lives with her husband about 6 miles north of us and continues to use her creative skills.  

Melissa received her BS and MS from Oklahoma City University with the latter on the same evening when Ann received her MS in Accounting. Melissa is co-owner of a newspaper business and lives in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Other career experiences included 7 years as manager for an independent oil company in Las Colinas in the City of Irving Texas and a short time as Director of Oklahoma State Parks. 

During the last 16 years of my working career I was manager and later Director of Federal Program for Central Oklahoma including Oklahoma City and adjacent two counties until my retirement in July 2006.

Ann continued her employment as Controller-CPA at Oklahoma City University and after twenty years retired in March 2007.   

Ann and I enjoy family activities and are avid Oklahoma City University basketball fans. I enjoy woodworking, landscaping and photography as hobbies, and we especially love traveling together. Opportunities have taken us to Alaska, Ireland, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico and throughout most of the United States. Most of our travels are made memorable in the company of family and friends.
