After graduating from PHS, I attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N. Mexico from 1959-1963.  Immediately after graduating on June 1, 1963, I married Margaret Montgomery from Truth or Consequences, N. Mexico on June 2.

I worked for the Transwestern Pipeline Co. for four years following graduation.  We moved back to Las Cruces for two years while I got a degree in education.  Margaret was an elementary and Jr. High teacher for twenty-eight years, and I coached and taught in Jr. High and High School also for twenty-eight years.  We were in McLean for three years, Perryton for fourteen years, and Odessa for eleven years.  Both Margaret and I retired in 1997 and moved to Pecan Plantation, a gated community about 10 miles south of Granbury, TX.

I play golf as often as I can, do a little fishing, work in the yard as little as I have to, enjoy our children and grandchildren, and relax and read the rest of the time.

We have three children: 1) Chris lives in Arlington and has two boys, ages 7 and 11;  2) Monty lives in Amarillo and has two boys and a girl, ages 5, 3 and 1½ , respectively; and 3) Our daughter, Molly, lives and works in Dallas.

Margaret and I have enjoyed our six years of retirement.  We have met a lot of new friends in the Granbury area.  We look forward to our high school and college reunions coming up this year.

50the Reunion Addendum

We continue to live in Granbury, Tx. at Pecan Plantation. In 2005 I had a complete knee replacement( probably a result of a knee injury in 1957). I was able to be back on the golf course within 8 weeks.

In May 2007 I had a triple bypass and a pacemaker implanted. I am continuing to play golf as often as I can. Retirement continues to be a great time of my life! Our three children are married to wonderful spouses, and Margaret and I have 5 grandchildren.

We are looking forward to the 50th Reunion in September. Thank all of you who are doing the organizing, planning, and arranging to make it all possible. Special thanks, Mike, for all of your hard work.
