Nov. 23, 1939 - July 15, 2000

Verson Duane Alexander, 60,
of Pampa, died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Vancouver, Wash.
Services are pending under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral
Directors of Pampa.
Mr. Alexander was born Nov.
23, 1939, at Amarillo and graduated from Pampa High School in 1958.
He worked for Joy Manufacturing in Buffalo, N.Y., and Seattle, Wash., and
was employed with Washington Atomic Power Company of Vancouver for 14 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran,
serving in the 101st Airborne Division of the Ranges, and belonged to
First Baptist Church of Pampa.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Verson T. Alexander, in 1988; and by a sister, Linda Janell
Alexander, in 1946.
Survivors include a
daughter, Kristin D‘Oca of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Chad Alexander of
Kennewick, Wash., and Robert Brent Alexander of Vancouver; his mother, Johnnie
Alexander of Pampa; a former wife, Darla Alexander of Kennewick; a sister, Lora
Baggerman of Pampa; and a brother, Charles Alexander of Pampa.
