Funeral for Cora Faye Shaw Gilmore, 58, owner and operator of Cora's Produce, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the First Baptist Church of Everman with burial in Everman Cemetery. Laurel Land of Fort Worth is handling arrangements. She died Sunday, April 5, 1998, 15 at her home.
She was born in Fayette County, Illinois.
The family suggest memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Earl Shaw, mother Ellen Shaw, and granddaughter, Raveen Nicole Gilmore.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Gilmore of Everman; sons, Leonard Gilmore and wife, Betty Jean of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Eddie Gilmore and wife, Kim, of Fort Worth; daughters, Frances Stephens, Margaret Gilmore and husband, John, Luwana Gilmore, all of Fort Worth and Vera Gilmore and husband, Johnny, of Venus; mother, Margaret Shaw of Perryton; brothers, Billy Shaw of Houston, Gene Shaw of Houston, Guy Shaw of Canadian and Timmy Shaw of Mutual, Oklahoma; sisters, Jenny Nodine of Leoti, Kansas, and Eulala Zungia of Ulysses, Kansas; grandchildren, Gary, Mary, John, Michael, Cori, James, Jodi, Shawn, Jonathon, Taylor and Heather; and great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Lauren, Aaron and Justin.
