OBITUARY
July 9, 1940 - July 22, 2002
Ronald E. "Ron" Stafford of Wylie died 7-22-02 after a short bout with cancer. He was born to Elgan and Lillie Smith Stafford on 7-9-40 in Pampa, Texas. He attended Frank Phillips College and then served in the Navy. He graduated from UTD while working for Texas Instruments. Ron spent 34 years at TI and was a multiple patent holder in the field of wireless application. He is survived by Julie, his wife of 30 years, daughter Kristi and fiancee Aldo Coppi of New York, son Chad of Wylie and brother Glen of Amarillo.
